Ty Wayne Edwards

Ty Wayne Edwards, age 55, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 2, 1971, he was a lifelong resident of D’Iberville, Mississippi, and graduated from D’Iberville High School in 1989.

Ty spent many years working as a car salesman, where his friendly nature and warm personality endeared him to those around him. He possessed a loving heart and shared a special bond with his father, Larry. He was incredibly proud of his son, Nathan, who brought him great joy. Ty loved fishing and shrimping along the Mississippi Gulf Coast and cherished the time spent with friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca Edwards. He is survived by his father, Larry Edwards; his son, Nathan Edwards; his former wife and mother of Nathan, Arleene (Brandon) Miles; his sister, Christy (Lee) Buchanan; and his nieces, Jenny (Logan) Stogner and Holly (Josh) Stanford; his great nieces, Lorelai and Lainey Stogner; and his great nephew Jonathan Stanford; also Gwendolen Speth and many other friends.

Ty will always be loved and will be greatly missed.
