With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Troy Sloan (Mount Washington, Kentucky), who passed away on March 6, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his children, Mark and Marla Sloan; his parents, Dr. Troy P. Sloan and Lillian Sloan; and his siblings, Keenis Sloan and Marilyn Lucas.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sloan; his daughters, Melanie Britt and Melissa Stuart (Page); his grandchildren, Will Stuart, Claire Stuart, Niki Britt and Weston Britt; and his great grandchildren, Alec, Cole and Macy Britt.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home (111 N Bardstown Rd, Mt Washington, KY 40047). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
