RANDOLPH - Troy Liddell Garrison, 88, went to his eternal home on Sunday, March 15, 2026, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 20, 1938, in Myrtle, MS to Troy A. and Helen H. Garrison. He was a faithful member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. He married the love of his life Mary E. Lunsford, and they shared 54 wonderful years. During those years they raised five heathen boys together. He really enjoyed old cars, watching Nascar, and attending local dirt track races. He could be found eating at 41 Fish House every weekend and Big Smooth BBQ every Wednesday. Troy enjoyed listening to blue grass gospel music but above all was time spent with his family.Troy is survived by his sons Roger Garrison (Denise), Randy Garrison (Rhonda), Ryan Garrison (Bobbie), and Rodney Garison (Cheryl), his daughter-in-law Lori Garrison Keith (James), his brother David Garrison (JoAnne), his beloved 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren who lovingly called him "Paw" and brought him endless joy.He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Rick, his loving wife, and his brother, John Thomas.Funeral Services are scheduled for Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 2PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Tommy Inmon and Bro. Marcus Coward officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5-8PM and again Thursday afternoon from 12PM until service time. Burial will follow in Guinn Cemetery.Pallbearers will be Roger Garrison, Randy Garrison, James Keith, Ryan Garrison, Rodney Garrison, and Thomas Garrison.
