November 8, 1993— March 7, 2026
Uvalde, TX
Troy Allen Nevarez, 32, of Uvalde, passed away on March 7, 2026, in Uvalde. He was born on November 8, 1993, in San Antonio, Texas, to Linda (Morales) and Efrain Nevarez, Jr.
From a young age, Troy was curious, energetic, and marched to the beat of his own drum. His warm spirit, individuality, and genuine kindness touched everyone around him. He had a natural instinct to care for and protect those he loved, always offering encouragement and support. Family was at the center of his world, and he treasured every gathering filled with laughter and shared stories.
Troy was an incredible uncle, the best Tío to his nieces and nephews, delighting in playing with them, making them laugh, and guiding them with care. He had a deep passion for gaming and loved sharing that joy by teaching and playing alongside others. To his family, he was a best friend, protector, devoted brother, and loving son who was always there when needed. To his friends, he was far more than a friend—he treated them like family.
He is survived by his parents of Uvalde; maternal grandparents, Jesus Morales, Jr. and Alvina Granado of Uvalde; sister, Alexandra Jacobi Rincon and husband, Aaron of San Antonio; and two brothers, Efrain Nevarez, III and wife, Jenny Irene and Steven Paul Nevarez and wife, Daniella all of Uvalde.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Efrain Nevarez, Sr. and Herminia Nevarez; maternal great grandparents, Jesus Morales and Gregoria Morales; paternal great grandparents, Hipolito Nevarez, and Maria De Jesus Nevarez; step grandfather, Delfino Granado; three uncles, Johnny Joe Nevarez, Jesse Morales, III, and Martin Morales.
