Trevor Clay Eakin, 27, of Freedom Township, passed away suddenly on the morning of March 11, 2026.  He was born November 9, 1998 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio the son of Robert and Deidre Eakin.  Trevor will always be remembered as a giving person who had a big heart and always showed concern for the well being of everyone.  Trevor was able to connect with people with his sense of humor and his approachability.  Some of his favorite things were to watch movies and play video games with his friends.  He will be deeply missed.  Trevor served his country in the United States Army.  Following cremation he will be laid to rest at Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna.  Trevor is preceded in death by his great grandmother Betty James and his step grandfather Ron Bratton, who he adored.  In addition to his parents, Trevor is also survived by his dear grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Trevor's memorial will be held on Monday March 23, 2026 at Tallmadge Lutheran Church 759 East Avenue Tallmadge, OH 44278. Visitation will be held 4-6 PM with the service starting at 6 followed by a meal. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributing to VFR Veterans and first responders foundation at vfrfoundation.org or any charity or cause that could hopefully help someone in need. Definitely something near and dear to Trevor's heart.
