Trenton Anthony Roskop

July 18, 2006 March 11, 2026

Arapahoe, NE

Trenton Anthony Roskop, 19, of Arapahoe, Nebraska, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Born on July 18, 2006, in Kearney, Nebraska, to Dennis and RayAnn Roskop, he was the middle child in his family and shared a special bond with his two sisters, Tracy and Taytum.

A 2025 graduate of Arapahoe High School, Trenton was attending Southeast Community College, where he was majoring in Ag Business. In high school he participated in football, basketball, and track, and was actively involved in the Arapahoe-Holbrook FFA chapter as vice president, Student Council, National Honor Society, FCA, Teammates, the Plains Tsunami swim team, and FCCLA. He coached little league teams, refereed basketball, and umpired baseball games. Trenton also competed in Chaos Basketball and Gladiator Baseball, played for Nebraska Pride Basketball, served on the Furnas County 4-H Council, and was president of the Arapahoe Baby Beef 4-H Club. A member of the Arapahoe Global Methodist Church, he worked at tenBensel Farms.

Trenton was the most magnetic person, never knowing a stranger. His crooked smile lit up any room, and he had a remarkable way of drawing people in and making them feel like friends. He loved sports, spending time with his friends, and farming, and he was especially excited about his plans to return home to farm with the tenBensel family. A natural leader who was never afraid to be himself, he always had a story to tell and made sure he was the life of the party. His energy, kindness, and larger-than-life personality will be remembered by everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his loving parents, Dennis and RayAnn Roskop; his sisters, Tracy and Taytum; his grandparents, Randy and Roxie Ryan and Mike and Patty Roskop; his great-grandmother, Margaret Roskop; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who will forever cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Ruth Ryan, and great-grandparents Fred and Edith O’Hare, Maxine Coursey, and Pete Roskop.
