Tracy Sweeney

Tracy Sweeney, 66, of Nicholasville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Baptist Health Lexington. Born on November 30, 1959, in Winchester, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Harvey and Cora Lee Burse Sweeney.

Tracy was the devoted widower of Kathy Sweeney. He is survived by his sisters, Linda (Albert Kurtz) Roberts and Rose (Robbie Morrow) Boular, along with several nephews, nieces, cousins, and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Kathy, and his siblings Mary Caudill, Margie Barbee, Herbert King, Billy Wilson, and Johnny Wilson.

Tracy will be remembered for the quiet strength and steadfast love he showed to his family throughout his life. His presence brought comfort and connection to those closest to him, and he leaves behind a family that will cherish the memories they shared.
