Tracey Wildes ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Harrington Funeral Home & Crematory - Hamlet on Mar. 9, 2026.Tracey Phillip Wildes, 33, of Hamlet, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2026 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst.He was born May 19, 1992, in Brunswick, Georgia, son of Cindy Peplinski Robinson and George Derrick Wildes.Tracey had a smile that would light up any room he walked into. He loved with his whole heart and would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed a helping hand. Tracey's family was his entire world, especially his two beautiful daughters, Emilee and Annaleiah. He loved being a "girl dad" and he wouldn't have changed it for the world.Tracey was a proud military veteran who loved his country. He was also a successful business owner. Tracey was loved by all who met him and that love will continue as we all keep his memory alive, especially for his little girls.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ronald and Sheila Peplinski, Thomas and Patricia Courson, and Archie and Anne Robinson.Left to cherish Tracey's memory is his loving wife, Stephanie Leaphart Wildes of the home; his beautiful girls, Emilee and Annaleiah Wildes, of the home; mother, Cindy Robinson (Jack) of Hamlet; father, Derrick Wildes (Tonya) of Brunswick, Georgia; brothers, Justin Wildes of Hamlet and Ryan Wildes (Madison) of Brunswick, Georgia; sisters, Jackeline Cockerton (Alex) of Hamlet and Brandi Wildes of Brunswick, Georgia; mother-in-law, Rebecca Leaphart of Burlington, NC; father-in-law, John Leaphart (Brigitte) of Murrayville, Georgia; grandfather-in-law, John Boling of Burlington, NC; nieces, Brooklyn, Shayla, and Chloe; nephew, Sevyn; and other extended family that loved him.Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 1:00-2:00pm at Harrington Funeral Home, Hamlet.The funeral service will immediately follow visitation, at 2:00pm, in the chapel of Harrington Funeral Home with the Reverend Steve Powell officiating.
