He was born in South Bend on October 30, 2009 to Symphonie Watkins and Torrey Lamar Plump Sr.; his father preceded him in death.Torrey was a student at Riley High School, where he was known for his energetic personality and strong spirit. He brought joy to those around him and had a presence that naturally drew people in.Torrey loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed playing football, basketball, cutting hair, and watching YouTube videos. His smile, laughter, and vibrant energy created meaningful memories that will remain in the hearts of many.He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Symphonie Watkins of South Bend; his siblings, Latwauna Lawrence, Demaje Martin, Torvelle Plump, Camdyn Watkins, Justice Plump, Honor Plump, Tierney Plump, and Calab Shell; maternal grandmother Pamela Love; aunt Renae (Tasha) Robinson; uncles Lyrics Watkins and Stanley Plump; niece Ayanna Lawrence; best friends, Sincere Johnson and Marshall Lindsey; and many extended family members and loved ones. Along with his father, Torrey was also preceded in death by his brother, Antwain Lawrence Jr.Though his life was far too short, Torrey's presence has left a lasting impact on all who knew and loved him. During his brief journey here Torrey's life was filled with love, laughter, and meaningful connections. He will be remembered for his smile, his energy, and the impact he made on everyone around him.Funeral services for Torrey will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Palmer Funeral Homes-West Chapel, 2702 Lincolnway West, South Bend.
