Tony Ray Winn, born on March 8, 1979, in Minford, Ohio, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on March 14, 2026, in Washington Court House, Ohio. He was a dedicated professional who spent many years building a respected career in the flooring trade, where his expertise and work ethic were highly valued.
Tony was a man who found joy in simple pleasures and meaningful connections. An avid hunter and fisherman, he cherished the quiet moments spent in nature. He also enjoyed relaxing with a cold beer and, above all, treasured quality time spent with family and friends. His warmth and camaraderie left a lasting impression on those who knew him.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Kelley (Seitz) Winn; his son, Axel Ray Winn; and his daughter, Althea Leanna Winn. Tony’s close family circle includes his brother Delbert Winn and sister Tracey Winn, as well as his father-in-law, Danny (Lora) Buck, and mother-in-law, Roseann Seitz. He was also survived by Amanda (Glen) Thomas, Larry Seitz, and Jay Graves Jr., his brothers and sister-in-law, alongside many aunts, uncles, and extended family members. Tony’s life was enriched by numerous friendships, including special friends Matt Jones, Donnie Hall, Rizo, and Scotty Boles, as well as all his coworkers in the flooring trade.
Tony was preceded in death by hi parents, Emerson and Sherry (Large) Winn and three siblings.
A service is planned for 2pm on Saturday, March 21st with Bishop David Evans officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12pm until the start of the service. Cremation will follow.
Tony’s legacy is one of hard work, friendship, and familial devotion. His passing is a profound loss to all who knew him, but his spirit and memories will endure in the hearts of his family, friends, and colleagues.
