Tony Cox

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Tony Cox of Mount Zion, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 6, 2026 at the age of 60. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Tony Cox to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Cox and Beulah Cox (McCart); and his sibling's children, Tammy Russell, Deanna Cox and Gabriel Cox.

He is survived by: his wife Julie Cox of Mt. Zion; his sons, Anthony Cox of Decatur, Andrew Cox (Taegen) of Pana and Aaron Cox of Liberty, Kentucky; his grandson Jonathan Cash Cox; his stepgranddaughter Kieran; his mother-in-law Judy Voelker; and his siblings, Pam Guinn (Kenny), Mike Cox (Gayle), Kerry Cox (Julia), Robert Cox (Ruth) and Carol Condon (Mark). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Calvert & Wikoff Funeral Home, North Chapel (4020 N Water St, Decatur, IL 62526).
