Toni Sue Blackburn

Toni Sue Blackburn was born on October 8, 1957, in Artesia, New Mexico, to John and Martha Speir. She passed away on March 12, 2026, at home in the comfort of her own surroundings.

Toni graduated from Artesia High School and earned an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Southeast New Mexico University. She devoted her career to caring for others as a Registered Nurse, retiring from Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma.

She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Toni was preceded in death by her husband, Don Blackburn; her parents, John and Martha Speir; and her brother, Ronald Speir.

She is survived by her brothers and their spouses, Donald and Tajuana Speir of Temple, Texas, John Speir, Jr. of Artesia, New Mexico, and Lonnie and Bonnie Speir of Russellville, Arkansas; her daughters and son-in-law, Shanna and Jimmy Cann, Tara Bratcher, and Dani Blackburn, all of Lawton, Oklahoma; along with her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other loving family members and friends.
