Toni Ann Olejarczyk, 72, of Rome, New York, passed away on March 8, 2026, at Rome Health. Born on April 27, 1953, in Rome, she was the daughter of Antonio “Tony” Pettinelli and Jennie Aiello Pettinelli. A graduate of RFA in 1971, she married the love of her life, James Olejarczyk, on October 10, 1981, and together they shared a devoted and joyful marriage.
Toni began her career at the Rome DDSO before devoting more than twenty years to her family’s business, Tony’s Ornamental Iron Works, where she played a vital role until her retirement. She was also one of the founding partners of Just Breathe Yoga Studio. She found great joy in practicing yoga, tending her garden, baking, crafting, and gathering with longtime friends for cards and holiday celebrations. Her home was a warm and welcoming place for family and friends alike.
She is survived by her beloved husband, James Olejarczyk, of Rome; her daughter, Johnna Rockenstyre, of Rome; and her grandson, Collin Rockenstyre, of Delanson, New York. She leaves behind many loving family members, including Donald and Barb Pettinelli, Anthony John and Cynthia Pettinelli of Rome, Robert and Candace Pettinelli of Vermont, her sister Rene Cutler, and sisters-in-law Christine Olejarczyk of Herkimer, Susan and Henry Keefer of Savona, New York, and Mary and David Feagans of Hay Market, Virginia. She was dearly loved by her godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a close circle of special friends.
She was predeceased by her parents and her brothers-in-law, David Olejarczyk and David Cutler.
