Funeral services will be held on March 11, 2026. A livestream link for the service will be available on the Iles Funeral Homes obituary page.Toney was born October 1, 1950, in Des Moines, Iowa, to George Woods and Vivian (Williams) Woods. He later married Patricia Woods, and together they built a life centered on family and community. They were deeply rooted in their church and spent their happiest hours exploring the wonders of the great outdoors. In Toney's journey within the church, he became an usher and worked as the treasurer.Alongside his deep faith, Toney pursued many passions; he was an avid reader, a collector of many things, and a talented bowler where he was a proud member of the Road Runners Bowling team, where he built many lasting friendships. He also enjoyed riding his bike, fishing, traveling as well as being an unwavering fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was also known for being a very fashionable man that led him to once model at Ebony Fashion Show at the Hoyt Sherman Place.Toney dedicated 42 years of his life as a press worker for Titan Tire before retiring.
