Tommy Shannon, 78, of Philadelphia, Mississippi, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Neshoba General County Nursing Home in Philadelphia.
He is survived by his son, Cedric Finley of Detroit, Michigan; two sisters, Evangelist Ruthie Nash and Evangelist Arthur Johnson of Philadelphia, Mississippi; special cousin Amie Murry; niece Tonya Evans; nephews Donny Jernigan and William Jernigan; along with a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.
Tommy will be remembered for the quiet strength and steady presence he brought to his family and community throughout his life. Those who knew him will cherish the memories of his love, his faith, and the many ways he touched their lives.
