Tommy Ray Oakley

Tommy Ray Oakley, 51, of Rougemont, passed away on March 13, 2026, at his home. Born in Durham County, he was the son of Talmadge Ray Oakley, who survives him, and the late Ruenell Mangum Oakley.

A member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church, Tommy worked for the City of Roxboro for as long as his health allowed. He found great joy in rabbit and deer hunting, fishing, and trips to White Lake. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Christie Fogleman Oakley; their two children, Savannah Rae Oakley and Kamden Gilbert Oakley; his father, Talmadge Ray Oakley; his sister, Tammy Oakley Miller and her husband Robert, all of Rougemont; and his beloved dogs, Milo, Rocky, and his hunting companions.
