It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Tommie Lee Austin, who passed away February 14, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, stories, and passions that will be cherished by those who knew and loved him.
Tommie shared 47 devoted years with his loving wife, Marilyn. Their life together was built on partnership, loyalty, and countless shared experiences that shaped a strong and enduring bond.
Tommie was known for his love of collectible muscle cars and the thrill of buying and selling unique machines. His passion also extended to mini bikes, go-carts, hobbies, and collectibles that reflected his mechanical skill, entrepreneurial spirit, and deep appreciation for craftsmanship. Whether restoring, trading, or simply talking shop, Tommie found joy in everything with an engine and wheels. He was a familiar face at Barrett-Jackson and Mecum, where his enthusiasm for the car community shined.
Tommie will be remembered for his character, dedication to the things he loved, and the relationships he built along the way. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy lives on in the memories he leaves behind and the lives he touched.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Marilyn, and many family members and friends who will forever carry him in their hearts.Friends and family will be received Wednesday, March 11, 2026 from 5-7 p.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E.
