Tom D. Stewart, Sr., age 94 of Goldonna, Louisiana, passed away on March 11, 2026 in Jonesboro. Born in Chestnut, Louisiana on September 5, 1931 to Alex and Rosa Lee Stewart, he worked in the woods as a dozer operator and served in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister, his son Dewayne Stewart, great-granddaughter Avery Stewart, and great-great-granddaughter Nova Nealy.
Tom is survived by his wife of 73 years, Martha “Mott” Stewart; his children, Dave Stewart (Edna), Ann Easterling (Larry), and Don Stewart (Wanda); ten grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and ten great-great-grandchildren. He found quiet joy in gardening, feeding the birds, spending time in God’s word, and being surrounded by his family.
