He was the beloved husband of Karen (McCarthy) Bloodgood and father of Olivia R. Bloodgood. Born in Waterbury CT he was predeceased by Ralph and Margarite Bloodgood, John and Orthella Booth, and his father Ralph S. Bloodgood.Todd attended the University of New Haven where he met Karen and after graduating he moved to Beverly to be with her. Todd and Karen married in 1996 but well before then he had become a son to her parents Richard A. McCarthy and the late Frances J. (Menesale) McCarthy.Todd worked for Town Paint in Beverly for many years. Eventually, he and Karen purchased the business renaming it Beverly Paint. During Todd's time at the store many of his customers became lifelong friends. After closing Beverly Paint he went on to work for North Shore Technical High School. Currently, he was Director of Facilities and Transportation for the Marblehead School Department, a job he loved where, again, he was fortunate to have many coworkers he considered good friends.Todd loved boating and was a long-time member of the Volunteer Yacht Club in Lynn serving as Commodore five times. Many of his best memories were of time spent at the club, on the water and most of all watching his precious Olivia and his "dock daughters" Emma and Gillian Murray grow up. He made many friends over the years there who became extended family.Above all, Todd's world revolved around his beloved wife and beautiful daughter. They were the light of his life, and spoke of them with endless pride and love. Everything he did was with them in his heart. His greatest joy was being their husband and father.In addition to his wife and daughter he is survived by Phillip Booth of Waterbury CT, Lo Bullock, Rachel Bullock, and Oscar and Mila Velasquez all of Methuen, MA.A memorial service will be held at Volunteer Yacht Club, 68 Lynnway, Lynn, MA on March 21st, at 2pm.
