He is survived by: his parents, William Howard and Rose Ellen Johnson (Kruit) of Rib Mountain; his wife Lynne Hoffmann; his sons, Nathan (Allison Samuel) of Verona and Zachary of Rib Mountain; his brother Scott (Dawn) of Rothschild; and his pet Molly. He is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts and uncles, a sister-in-law, nieces and nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jesus Catholic Church (1104 S 9th Ave, Wausau, WI 54401). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 20th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
