Burial to follow in Bowers Chapel Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 10 am until service time, at 1pm, in the chapel of Shelton Funeral Home.Mrs. Acred, a retired sewing machine operator, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2026, at her home in Beech Bluff, TN.Mrs. Acred is preceded in death, by her husband James Acred and her parents Burton and Ola Mae Parrish.Mrs. Acred is survived by; a daughter Debroah Fisher of Humboldt, TN, two sons; Jeffrey Acred of Beech Bluff, TN and Terry Acred of Big Sandy, TN, a sister, Shirly Bonds of Memphis, TN, two brothers, Ricky Bonds and Randel Bonds both of Memphis, TN; six grandchildren, Dusty Fisher of Medina, TN, Christopher Acred of Milan, TN, Cody Henson and Jacquiline Cannon both of Jackson, TN, Sarah Henson of Gadsden, TN, and Robert Palmer of Ashland, VA, sixteen great-grandchildren; Mason Henson, Braydon Thomas, Abbiegayle Henson, Carsyn Henson, Issabelle Acred, Hazel Acred, Carson Palmer, Morgan Fisher, Weston Fisher, Hudson Fisher, Sawyer Haynes, Kinsley Palmer, Lane Cannon, Sarah Cannon, Aiden Fisher, and Reese Cannon; and one great great-grandchild, Elijah Fisher.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
