Tip Fei Low

Tip Fei Low, born on December 14, 1928, in LongDu, Zhongshan, China, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026, in Monterey Park, California, at the age of 97.

Tip Fei met her beloved husband, Gee Choy Low, in Zhongshan. Together they moved to Hong Kong in search of better opportunities and a brighter future for their family. Shaped by a difficult childhood, she carried with her a quiet perseverance, inner strength, and deep gratitude that defined her character throughout her life.

In the early years of her marriage, while her husband worked overseas to support the family, Tip Fei raised their four children largely on her own. With limited resources, she managed their home with remarkable care and determination, ensuring her children were always fed, clothed, and educated. Through her quiet sacrifices, she created a warm and loving home that remained the heart of her family.

She will be remembered for her warmth, resilience, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. Tip Fei cherished simple joys—playing Chinese checkers and Mahjong with her children and grandchildren, sharing meals together, and beginning each day in Hong Kong with early morning hikes followed by Luk Tung Kuen practice. She had a great love for food, especially squab, lobster, suckling pig, wonton noodle soup, and dim sum.

Tip Fei is survived by her children Theresa and her husband Ray, Regina and her husband Patrick, Ambrose and his wife Karen, and Franky and his wife Michelle; her grandchildren Ilene, Jonathan and his fiancée Maria, Leona, Leo, Karina and her husband William, Amber and Brian; her great-grandchildren Hunter and Audrey; and her brother Dennis Lau and his wife So-Ying. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion that will continue to live on in the hearts of her family.
