Timothy Wert

Timothy Wert of Millersburg, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on April 10, 1951, he spent most of his life in Millersburg, where he was known as a hardworking man who took great pride in providing for his family. He began his career driving trucks for St. Johnsbury and later completed his working years with ABF Trucking, safely logging over a million miles without an accident.

Tim was married to his wife, Devon Wert, for 46 years until her passing in 2018. He is survived by his children, Michael S. (Lynnee) Wert of Danville, Stephanie L. (Mark) Harris of Millersburg, Chad A. Wert of Millersburg, Tanesha M. Black of Hershey, Jillian A. (Mikey) Wert-Paul of Millersburg, and Aaliyah M. Black of Elizabethville; and by his grandchildren, Kayla L. (Branden), Sara (Steven), Brynley, Avelyn, Maya, Isaiah, Jenica, William Jr., Jeremiah, Devon, and David. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Margaret Wert, and his brother, Dave Wert.

A longtime member of Reigles Bible Fellowship, Tim loved to travel and had a gift for befriending everyone he met. In retirement, he enjoyed peaceful walks by the river and spending hours at the local diner, sharing breakfast and conversation with friends and neighbors. Those who knew him will remember his steady presence, quiet strength, and warm way with people. His family is saddened by his passing but grateful for the years they shared and finds comfort knowing he is at peace with his Savior.
