Timothy Kent Tidwell

Timothy Kent Tidwell, 66, of Gaston, passed away on March 6, 2026. Born on October 18, 1959, he was the son of the late William Preston and Lois Irene Fleming Tidwell.

Tim will be remembered for his big heart, infectious humor, and playful jokester personality. He cherished time spent with his family and his motorcycle club, Brothers Forever. He loved riding his motorcycle, anything with wheels, and especially enjoyed fishing. He was also a proud veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Marie Tidwell; his children, Chris Sightler, Selena Stewart, Lesslie Sharpe (Eddie), Lisa Brown (Phillip), Elizabeth Smith (Travis), Cody Tidwell, and Shawn Cvengros; and his grandchildren, John, Violet, Khloe, Lyla, Jason, Harleigh, Sky, Bentley, Janie, Shannon, Christina, Braxton, Chris, Junior, Timmy, Carter, and Dean. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters.
