Timothy "Tim" Eldred

Timothy Burton Eldred, age 84, passed away on February 10, 2026, with his daughter, Sarah by his side. He was born on September 8, 1941, to the late Rita and Kenneth Eldred.

Tim was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Though he was born in Washington D.C., he grew up in San Antonio, Texas, and was a Texas fan through and through. Tim attended the University of Texas at Austin where he received his degree in Business Administration.

Tim proudly served in the Army and was a Lieutenant in Vietnam from 1965 to 1967. He went on to enjoy a long career in various business ventures, most notably creating the company MediQuik that he sold to GlaxoSmithKline in the early 2000s.

Tim had just endured the loss of his wife of 33 years, Sheila Eldred, a month before his own passing. Truly, he could not live without her.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Christopher Riddle, and his three grandsons, August, Miles, and Ethan Riddle, who affectionately referred to Tim as PeePaw.

A graveside service honoring Tim’s life will be held on March 10th at 10:00 am at Orange United Methodist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Orange United Methodist Church.
