Barthman Avenue, Columbus, OH 43207.Thomasena Elayne Crowder Sunrise: August 21, 1962 - Sunset: March 6, 2026Thomasena Elayne Crowder, born August 21, 1962, at St. Ann's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on March 6, 2026, at Grant Hospital.She is preceded in death by her father Thomas E. Crowder; brothers Tarron and Darrick Crowder; nephew Darrick Dawson, twin grandchildren Ramal and Ramell Milton; and nephew Zadric M. Walker.Thomasena leaves to cherish her memory her loving mother Sherdena Crowder; brothers Johnathan Crowder and Alan Kemper; sons Frederick Crowder and Robert Young Jr.; daughter Sherdena Crowder; and her beloved grandchildren, Jeremiah, Mialiyah,Mijere, Marie, Ari'Ja, A'Tarah, Ari'Jon, A'Tiyah, Robert III, Adriana, Kashmir, Frederick Jr., and Jayviona.She also shared a special bond with her dear friends Tina, Carla, and Annette Hinkle, whose friendship brought her joy throughout her life.A proud graduate of Marion Franklin High School in Columbus, Ohio, Thomasena spent many years serving her community as an employee of the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles before devoting her life fully to motherhood and raising her family with unwavering love.Thomasena had a gift for bringing people together. She loved entertaining her family and friends-cooking, listening to music, sharing laughter, and cracking jokes. (A true Southfield trait… if you know, you know.) Her joyful spirit never met a stranger and never made an enemy. She carried a grateful soul, a warm heart, and a light that touched everyone around her.Thomasena was truly loved by many and will be sorely missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her, including a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friendsTo plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
