Thomas Turgeon ObituaryVisit the Bucktrout of Williamsburg Funeral Service website to view the full obituary. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, Thomas "Tom" Turgeon Jr., who passed away at the age of 52.Tom was a man who truly lived for the simple joys in life. Whether casting a line on the water, spending time with his children and grandbabies, or lending a helping hand to someone in need, he found happiness in the moments that mattered most. Fishing was one of his greatest passions, often serving as both his escape and his way of connecting with those he loved.Family meant everything to him. Tom cherished every moment spent with his children and grandchildren, who brought endless pride and joy into his life. His grandbabies held a special place in his heart, and he never missed an opportunity to make them laugh, share stories, or simply enjoy being together.Tom was also known for his generous spirit and willingness to help anyone who needed it. Friends knew they could always count on him, whether for advice, a favor, or just a good conversation. When he wasn't with family, he could often be found enjoying time with friends at the local watering hole, sharing laughs and making memories that will now be treasured even more deeply. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Dot Turgeon. He is survived by his loving wife, Dora; his daughters, Brittney Turgeon (Ricky) and Meranda Turgeon (Shawn); his stepson, Larry Wilson; and his stepdaughters, Heather O'Neil (Jerry) and Jennifer Farmer (Troy). He is also survived by his father, Thomas Turgeon Sr., and his sisters, Lisa Byers (Ronnie), Marie Warden, and Kim Turgeon. He leaves behind the lights of his life-his cherished grandchildren: Braelyn, Kaelyn, Ryelyn, Skylyn, Logan, Grayson, Ansley, Nora, and Isla.He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends who truly loved him, as well as his lifelong best friend, Jeff Barker, whose friendship meant the world to him.A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Bucktrout Funeral Home. As Tom was never one for stuffy or formal services, the family kindly asks those attending to dress casually and comfortably as they gather to remember him, share stories, and celebrate the life he lived.Tom will be remembered for his big heart, his love of laughter, his loyalty to family and friends, and the countless memories he created with those fortunate enough to know him. Though he may no longer be with us, his spirit will live on in the stories told, the laughter shared, and the love he left behind.Read The Full ObituaryTo plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
