It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Schroeder of Hardin, Montana, who passed away on March 7, 2026, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Schroeder and Virginia Schroeder; his parents-in-law, Thomas (TL) and Joyce Lippert; and his uncle Dean Schroeder.

He is survived by: his wife Charlene Steinmetz of Hardin; his sister Nancy Williams of Tok Alaska; his aunt Karen Schroeder; his children, Kim (Berke) of Billings and Aaron (Tiffany) of Hardin; his grandchildren, Stetson (Brayden), Brooklynne Will (Kade Recor), Cole, Dylan, Payden Brown, Ty and Bryson Schroeder; his great grandchild Lakelynne Recor; his nephews, Dar, Mitch and Duncan Williams; and his close friend Kara.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bullis Mortuary (507 N Center Ave, Hardin, MT 59034). A burial will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at the Fairview Cemetery (569 Cemetery Rd, Hardin, MT 59034).
