Thomas Mosena

Thomas E. Mosena, 79, of Cape Coral, Florida, formerly of Burlington, died Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Ambassador Health Care Center in Fort Myers, Florida.Born Nov. 15, 1946, in Burlington, he was the son of Glenn and Lucille (Robinson) Mosena. He was a graduate of Burlington High School and served in the Iowa Army National Guard 224th Division from June 1965 until November 1972.Tom was the owner/operator of Mosena Electric for over 50 years. He was of the Catholic faith. He managed Burlington Little League teams for 10 years and really enjoyed his time spent coaching. He was an avid Iowa Hawkeyes fan.He is survived by his two daughters, Heather Mosena and Suzanne (Brian) Rice, both of Florida; two grandchildren, Brandon Rice and Morgan Rice; siblings, Daniel, Robert, Carolyn, and Mary; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Shirley Brunken.According to his wishes, cremation has been accorded.
