He is survived by his wife of over 32 years, Jeanetta "Babe" Morris; daughters, Carly Knight (Brandon), Lauren Flint (Ethan) and Ashley Gibbs (Rashaad); sons, Christopher Johnson (Jennifer Simpson) and Alex Johnson (Keisha); brother, Bill Morris; mother-in-law, Carolyn Wilkerson; brothers-in-law, William Johnson and Donnie Edwards (Julia) sisters-in-law, Kim Mooney, Sabrina Johnson and Carol Huddlestone (Preston); a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews that he cherished and his beloved fur babies, Blaze and Jackson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Helen Morris; brothers, Carl Morris and Bernard Morris and sister-in-law, Donna Smyre-Edwards.Thomas loved his family dearly and treasured the wonderful life they built together. He was a proud graduate of Illinois State University, where he earned his bachelor's degree. Thomas devoted more than 30 years of dedicated service to Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where his work and commitment were greatly valued. In addition to his professional career, he was the owner of all four local En Vogue art galleries, reflecting his appreciation for creativity and the arts. Thomas had deep and abiding faith. He loved the Lord and spent much of his time studying the Bible, often finding comfort, guidance, and strength in its words throughout his life. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate team at Amedisys Home Hospice, and especially to Laura, whose kindness, care, and support meant so much during this time.Visitation will be held on March 20, 2026, from 11:00am until 12:00pm at Click Funeral Home - Farragut Chapel, with service starting at 12:00pm. Immediately following the service, family and friends will meet in Pleasant Forest Cemetery for a 1:30pm graveside comital.Click Funeral Home is honored to serve the Morris family.
