He is survived by: his wife Kim Childs Benson; his daughters, Carlee Harrell, Brooke Ann Hopper (Andrew) and Teigh Benson; his mother Carla Benson; his siblings, Skip Benson (Becky) and Teresa Cooper (Brad); and his grandchildren, Gage, Bo, Bren, Ronnie Grace Harrell (Maggie Drew) and New Arrival.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McBride Funeral Home, Inc. (206 N Commerce St, Ripley, MS 38663). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
