She was born in Louisville, KY on March 8, 1936, daughter of the late Frances Wheatley Haskell and Fred Haskell.She was a founding member of St. Polycarp Catholic Church, a former computer operator with Sears and a longtime employee of Terry Graphics.Tommie enjoyed quilting, crafts – especially making porcelain dolls and working with the Navy Seabees locating people in the 5th and 67th division.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Laurence Terry, daughter Tina Marie Mathis and daughter-in-law Jennifer Terry.Tommie is survived by her son David Terry of Louisville, KY and her son-in-law, Fred Mathis of Louisville, KY4 grandchildren: Andrea Watson, Holly Roberts (James), Andrew Mathis (Heather) and Brittany Alexander (Andrew)7 great grandchildren: Kaylin, Isaac, Lincoln, Sophia, Isabelle, Dean and LeonardoHer friend and caregiver: Loretta Lucas of Hardinsburg, KYFuneral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 10:30 AM with entombment at the Louisville Memorial Gardens West Cemetery.Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM on Thursday.
