Thomas Luther Nasworthy

Thomas Luther Nasworthy, age 74, of Rome, Georgia, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, at a local hospital. Born in Rome on December 6, 1951, to the late Luther James Nasworthy and the late Dorothy Silver Nasworthy, Tom lived a life rooted in the community he always called home.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Gail Stanfield Nasworthy, and his sister, Charlotte Mathis. Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Duane (Sara) Nasworthy; his daughter, Amy Powell; five grandchildren, Logan, Jake, Abby, Gage, and Luke; four great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Josie, Mallorie, and Jack; his brother, Bill (Kim) Nasworthy; and his sister, Susan (Randy) Pelfrey.

Tom will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother whose quiet strength and steadfast love shaped the lives of all who knew him. His family remains the heart of his legacy.
