Thomas John Leab

Thomas J. Leab, age 79, passed away surrounded by loved ones on March 5, 2026, in Orange Park, Florida. Born on August 4, 1947, in Ludlow, Massachusetts, he later moved to Florida to be with family in 2019.

Thomas served in the United States Army, where he was awarded the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and Army Commendation Medal. He took great pride in his work as a computer technician, particularly in software and coding. He also owned and operated his own sandwich shop, where he found joy in making others happy.

Preceded in death by his father Alfred, mother Gladys, and brother William, Thomas is survived by his son Jeffrey A. Leab, Sr. and his wife Julia, as well as his grandchildren Brieanna, Madisen (Noah), Jeffrey Jr., and Gracie. He will be deeply missed, yet his spirit and love will remain with his family always.
