Thomas J. Rogozewicz, born July 23, 1939, in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, at the age of 86. Affectionately known as Tom, he was a beloved husband to his late wife, Rose Marie, with whom he built a warm and compassionate home filled with laughter. He was the devoted father of daughters Beth and Juli, a loving Pappap to grandchildren Cody Schillo (Lauren), Alyssa Schillo, and Kaylee (Zach) Davy, and a cherished great-grandfather to Aaran and Summer. He is also survived by his sister Betty (John) Moraca, sisters-in-law Francis (Ern) Calhoon and Kristin (Ed) Sabom, and many nieces and nephews.
Tom served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam era. With Rose by his side, he owned and operated several Tastee-Freez ice cream stores and the Big Tee Family Restaurant, a true family endeavor where friends gathered daily. After leaving the restaurant business, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service until his retirement. His work ethic was unmatched, yet his greatest love was always his family. He taught his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren the importance of staying close and living life together.
In his free time, Tom enjoyed camping with his family, visiting the casino with his sister, cheering for the Steelers, Penguins, Pirates, and Penn State football, tending to his yard, and relaxing in his hammock. He had a deep love for animals and is survived by his beloved cats, Toby and Josie.
Tom’s family will always remember the joy, compassion, and quiet strength he brought into their lives.
