"Butch" Greene, 86, of Allentown, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026, in the In-Patient Hospice Unit of L.V. Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Camilla L. (Church) Greene. They celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary in January 2026. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Joseph Bernard and Gladys (Connolly) Greene. Thomas attended Our Lady of Good Counsel elementary school in New York, graduated from Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School in Brooklyn, received his bachelor's degree from Manhattan College in Riverside, NY and received his master's degree in industrial relations from the University of Wisconsin, Madison Campus. Butch ran track at Bishop Loughlin and Manhattan College. He was the owner of Greenebark Press, a publisher of children's books. Thomas was the Comptroller at several companies, Fortune Magazine, Xerox, RCA, Powerwinch and R.R. Bowker. He was listed in the masthead of Fortune Magazine as their business manager. Butch was also an accountant for Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation in Brooklyn. He loved traveling around the world, especially to Australia, for both business and pleasure. Thomas had dual citizenship with the Cayman Islands. He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown. His hobbies included reading, photography and playing tennis. Thomas loved spending time with his family, especially the Friday night family dinners.Survivors: Wife, Camilla; Daughter: Kelli-Ann Greene of Allentown; Son: Robert J. Greene of Vancouver, British Columbia; Grandson: Caleb J. Greene; Sister: Marilyn Greene-Jackson of Prince Frederick, MD; Niece: Renee Katz of Brooklyn, NY; Nephew: Francis Greene in California. Thomas was predeceased by siblings Frank Greene, Josephine Butler Grossman.Services: 11 am Thursday, March 12, 2026, Mass at St. Thomas More Church, 1040 Flexer Avenue, Allentown 18103. No Calling.
