Thomas Gerald Stalheber

Thomas Gerald Stalheber, known to all as Tom, passed away peacefully at his home in Grandy, North Carolina, on March 9, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on December 9, 1953, in Newark, New Jersey, to the late Walter Joseph Stalheber and Janet Fay Brewster Stalheber, he was the devoted husband of Ginger Stalheber for 25 years.

Tom built a life centered on his family and his work as an award-winning general contractor in the remodeling industry. He approached every project with pride and skill, leaving a lasting mark on the communities where he lived. In his free time, he found deep satisfaction in windsurfing and caring for his beloved succulents, pursuits that reflected his quiet strength and love of simple pleasures.

He is survived by his wife, Ginger; his cherished daughter, Madeline Crawley, and her husband, Andrew; and his treasured grandchildren, Colton, Campbell, Frankie, and Hutch Crawley. He is also survived by his brother, Walter Stalheber, and many friends who will remember his quick wit, strength, and good-hearted nature.

Tom’s family will honor his memory privately, holding close the love and joy he brought into their lives. He will be deeply missed yet warmly remembered by all who knew him.
