Thomas Franklin Garner Jr.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Franklin Garner Jr. of Mesa, Arizona, born in McLoud, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Gayle Nelson; his children, Jeff Garner (Sheree), Craig Garner, Todd Garner (Jackie) and Shelley Webb (Brent); his siblings, Norma (Cleve) and David (Carol); his close friend Gayle; his siblings, Jim, Ralph, Dot and Patsy; and his grandson Carson. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

The military honors will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona (2929 E Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024). A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (21915 E Cloud Rd, Queen Creek, AZ 85142).
