Hartland, WI
Thomas F. Wolf passed away on March 10, 2026, at the age of 95. He was joyfully reunited with his beloved wife, Dolores, whom he loved deeply and missed dearly throughout the years they were apart.
Tom was a devoted and proud father to Bob (Julie), Geri Jewell (Len), Chris (Teresa), Tom (Heidi), and Karen Klemeneic (Bob). His greatest joy came from his role as Grandpa and Papa to his grandchildren Christine (Ben), Jessica (Garrett), Justin (Hailey), Katelyn, Emily, Alex (Emily), Brian, Caroline (Tom), Matt (Jacky), and Josh, and as a loving great-grandfather to Stella, Lucy, Nora, Ezra, Nash, Axel, Neli, Vivien, Diesel, and Ripley. He cherished his close relationships with his in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family, and the many friends he made and kept throughout his life, always finding deep fulfillment in time spent with those he loved.
A devout Catholic, Tom faithfully served his parish communities at St. Alphonsus in Greendale and St. Teresa of Calcutta in Hartland as a lector, server, usher, Eucharistic minister, and sacristan, approaching each role with humility, dedication, and deep faith. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, attaining the rank of Sergeant First Class and serving in Korea. His 33-year career with the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District began as a temporary Engineer Aide I and culminated in his retirement as Director of Technical Services in 1988. A Professional Engineer and member of the Wisconsin Society of Professional Engineers, he was also a proud inductee of Tau Beta Pi. He valued most the people he met and worked with, maintaining many of those relationships long after retirement and treasuring the camaraderie of the “Old Farts Club.”
Tom’s lifelong love of golf began in his youth as a caddie. He savored every round and could recall shots from courses played decades earlier. He enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, whether it was Sheepshead, Hearts, Cribbage, Pinochle, Poker, or Bridge. An avid reader, he particularly loved a good mystery or suspense novel. A passionate Marquette alumnus, he remained a devoted fan of Marquette University High School and Marquette University throughout his life. Tom and Dolores shared a love of travel, exploring much of Europe, most of the United States, and parts of Canada together. After her passing, he continued to travel, often combining golfing vacations with visits to family.
He leaves behind a remarkable legacy of strong work ethic, discipline, perseverance, dedication, compassion, and kindness, having lived his life fully and generously. The family is especially grateful for the compassionate care provided by the staff of Aurora Hospice at Home, with special thanks to Samantha.
