He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence McDaniel and Ola McDaniel; his former wife Leta McDaniel (Stanley); his wife Mildred McDaniel (Drake); his daughter Debra Ricci; his children-in-law, Kim Drake and Vic Ricci; his granddaughter Michelle McDaniel; and his great grandchild Justin McDaniel.

He is survived by: his children, Fred McDaniel and Cindy McDaniel; and his stepchildren, Robert Drake, Douglas Drake, Michael Drake (Deanna) and Pam Koshiol (Dan).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Monreal Srnick Funeral Home (35400 Curtis Blvd, Eastlake, OH 44095). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Monreal Funeral Home (35400 Curtis Blvd, Eastlake, OH 44095).
