Thomas F. Garrett

Thomas F. Garrett, 85, died on February 21, 2026, after a long illness. He was born on April 9, 1940, in Madison County, Kentucky to the late Willie and Bessie Webb Garrett. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Joyce Garrett, his son Jay Garrett, wife Kim, granddaughter Brianna Garrett, brothers Jerry Garrett, wife Bobbye, and Larry Garrett, wife Donna, and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Leo, David, and Ronnie, and sisters Reva and Sharon. He was retired from IBM. He enjoyed going to the casino and watching sports, especially University of Kentucky basketball. The family would like to thank the staff at The Willows at Citation for taking good care of him for the last four years.
