Thomas Elmer Moore Sr.

Thomas Elmer Moore Sr., age 91, of Clarksville, passed away at his home on March 12, 2026.

Born on October 20, 1934, in Washington County, he was the son of Golden Moore Sr. and Margaret Nelson Moore. A graduate of the Borden Class of 1954, he served in the Army and later retired from the United States Navy in 1980. He was a longtime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Anna Knight Moore, whom he married on August 3, 1970, and their children, Brandon Moore and Brittany LaCroix. He is also survived by his children from his first marriage to Dorris Holt Moore: Thomas Moore Jr., Cindy Moore, and Chrisandra Lerma. Additional survivors include his brother, Merlin Moore, ten grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Dellis Moore, his brothers Golden Moore Jr., Robert Moore, Marvin Moore, Lloyd Moore, Ronald Moore, Michael Moore, and Rodney Moore, and his sisters Martha Moore and Marilyn Coats.
