Thomas Edward Hedges

Thomas Edward Hedges, known affectionately as Tommy, of Odessa, Missouri, passed away peacefully at his home on March 15, 2026. Born on July 16, 1961, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Henley and Terry Hedges, he graduated from Odessa High School and spent many years working as a skilled machinist.

Tommy was a man of strength and warmth whose greatest joy came from his family. He cherished the time spent with his loved ones, especially a memorable family trip to Branson and the lake during his sons’ youth that was filled with laughter, adventure, and togetherness. He volunteered at the VFW, giving back to his community, and found simple pleasures in golfing, fishing, and bowling.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henley and Terry Hedges.

Tommy is survived by his sons, Tony Hedges and Thomas “TJ” Hedges, and his grandchildren Kayla, Michaela, Eric, Aaron, Thomas, Tyler, and Dylan. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Jocelyn Hedges. Those who knew him will remember his dedication, his quiet kindness, and the lasting impact he made on the lives of his family.
