Thomas Duncan Heistand

Thomas Duncan Heistand, age 79 of Lebanon, passed away on March 6, 2026 at Baptist Health Hardin. Born on October 7, 1946 in Lebanon to the late Otha and Pearl (Garrett) Heistand, he served his country as a proud veteran of the United States Army and the Kentucky National Guard. He later worked as a bulldozer operator until his retirement.

Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Marie “Deanie” (Tungate) Heistand, and his siblings, Roselin Young, Maude Perkins, Lloyd Heistand, Edgar Heistand, Finus Heistand, Dorothy Graham, and Mary Frances Fair.

He is survived by his four daughters, Teresa Boyd, Tracy (Daniel) Lucas, Tina (Randy) Hartley, and Tommi Nicole (Kevin) Shuck; his sister, Lena Lootens; grandchildren Matthew Boyd, Michael Boyd, MJ Boyd, Kaitlyn Shuck, Bella Shuck, Hunter Shuck, Chloe Hartley, Allen Hartley, and Evelyn Lucas; and great-grandchildren Lukas Boyd, Nevaeh Boyd, Oakley Boyd, and Summer Shuck.
