He was predeceased by: his parents, John C., Jr. and Joan L. Lawson (Risser); and his sister Melodie Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Cathy M. Lawson (Smith); his son William E. Marlow, Jr. (Rayetta Jackson); his grandchildren, Nick, Tanner and Kristen Pettet; his grandson-in-law James; Carter and Ellie Pettet.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the William W Tripp Funeral Home (1008 Newport Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02861).
