Theresa Rita Camody

Theresa Rita Camody, 80, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 6, 2026, at Genesis Healthcare in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The daughter of the late Nicholas Anthony and Antoinette (De Luca) Camody, Theresa dedicated her life to helping others. She worked in patient registration in the Emergency Room at Lehigh Valley Hospital on 17th and Chew Streets in Allentown from 2000 to 2006. She proudly served as a volunteer EMT with Whitehall Coplay Ambulance for 25 years and later with North Whitehall (NOVA), and she volunteered as an instructor of CPR, First Aid, and Advanced Life Saving for the Red Cross for 15 years. Her compassion extended into her personal life as well through her monthly trips delivering food donations to the Missionaries of Charity. Theresa was a devoted member of Cathedral St. Catharine of Siena Catholic Church.

She is survived by her brother, Nicholas F. Camody of Pittsburgh, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Maria Bauer, and her brother, S. Nick Camody.
