Theresa Feil-Erskine ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Thurman Funeral Home - Richmond on Mar. 6, 2026.Theresa Mae Feil-Erskine, 56, of Richmond, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at her home.Theresa was born on September 6, 1969, in Cowgill, the daughter of Wayne Edwin and Rita (Elliott) Feil. She was united in marriage to William "Will" Erskine.Survivors include: husband, Will Erskine of Richmond; two daughters, Aspen Erskine of Richmond and Samantha (Preston) Pippin of Texas; grandson, Parker Pippin; four brothers: Wayne Edwin Feil of Warsaw, John (Regina) Feil of Braymer, Leonard (Julie) Feil of Cowgill, and James (Britni) Feil of Warsaw; several nieces and nephews also survive.She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Rita Feil, paternal grandparents, John and Ida Feil, and maternal grandparents, J.W. and Ritha Elliott.Theresa found her greatest joy in the outdoors and in the company of those she loved most. She enjoyed hiking, camping, kayaking, and fishing, always appreciating the peace and beauty of nature. Traveling with her family created many of her most treasured memories, but she was just as happy simply spending time together, laughing and making everyday moments special.Theresa also expressed her love through cooking, often creating new dishes and bringing family together around the table. One of her proudest and most meaningful accomplishments was training service dogs for Retrieving Freedom in Sedalia, a role that reflected her compassionate heart and desire to help others.Her deep love for family, along with her quick wit, bright smile, and infectious laugh, will be missed beyond measure. Though she is gone from our sight, she will forever remain in our hearts.We love and miss you, Tbear.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Retrieving Freedom, Inc. Box 190, Richmond, MO 64085.Visitation with memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at St James Catholic Church in Liberty, with visitation beginning at 11:00 A.M., with services at 12:00 P.M.
