Kearns (1957-2026)Theresa Marie Kearns, affectionately known as Terry, was born February 5, 1957 and died peacefully March 14, 2026.Terry was the sixth of eight children born to James and Theresa Kearns and was raised in the Harrowgate / Kensington sections of Philadelphia and educated at the Ascension of Our Lord Parish, Little Flower High School ('75) and Saint Joseph University.Terry retired as Director of Finance of the Anesthesia Department of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) where she started as a secretary and served for 43 years.Always proud of her Irish Catholic heritage and an avid Philadelphia sports fan, Terry was most devoted to her family and especially to her parents, Jim and Theresa, who moved with her from Philadelphia to Horsham where she cared for them the rest of their lives.Terry is survived by her siblings James Kearns (Kathleen), Patricia Given (John), Eileen Kosmaczewski (William), Michael Kearns (Tana), the late Marie Kane (Gerald), Daniel Kearns (Julie) and Thomas Kearns (Michele) along with 16 nieces and nephews and 23 grand-nieces and grand-nephews.A viewing will be held beginning 10:00 AM Thursday March 19, at Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 321 Witmer Road, Horsham, PA 19044.
