Theresa L. McMahon

Theresa L. McMahon, known to all as Terry, TT, Aunt TT, or Sissy, passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 71 in Zephyrhills, Florida, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born on July 3, 1954, Terry lived a life centered on her deep love for family and friends, always placing the needs of others before her own. Her joyous attitude and warm, welcoming smile left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

A graduate of Evergreen Park High School in Illinois, Terry went on to earn an Associate’s Degree from Tampa Technical College. She was the co-owner of Ostrander Trucking and served as its principal driver for many years. Earlier in her career, she owned an amusement company and traveled extensively throughout the United States.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Charlene McMahon, her sister Mary, and her brothers Rich, Bill, Christopher, and Patrick. Terry is lovingly remembered by her best friend of more than 50 years, Be Ostrander, her brothers Ed (Amy), Tom (Lynda), and Joseph, her sisters Kathy and Camille (Dan), as well as Honey, Cindy, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family also extends deep gratitude to her “second family” of 50 years—Cathy, Hector, Ryan, Karina, Brady, Lilly, Tristan, Doug, Dominique, and Michael—who surrounded her with exceptional care and compassion in her final days.
