Theresa H. Rourke, 71, of Mechanicville, passed away at home on Friday, February 27, 2026. Born in Troy, New York, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Rosalie M. (Dobransky) Rourke.
Theresa found joy in playing bingo, traveling to casinos, and attending plays and musical events at Proctors. After living for several years in California, where she worked at KCET, she returned to the Capital District. She recently retired from the state of New York following many years of service with several state agencies.
She is survived by her brothers, Michael (Diane) Rourke and Robert (Anita) Rourke; her sister, Marianne (James) Witkowski; her nephew, Christopher (Kelly) Rourke; her nieces, Jessica Witkowski and Erin (Andrew) Collier; and her great-nieces, Whitney Rourke and Aaliyah Collier.
